About Image to GIF AI

What we make

Image to GIF AI takes one still picture and turns it into a short looping GIF. You upload an image, choose what it is for, pick a motion, and download a file that is already the right size and format for that use. There is no editor and no timeline to learn.

We built it because the usual route to the same result is long: make a video with one tool, trim it in another, convert it in a third, and then find out that the file is too large for the place you wanted to use it. A sticker, an emoji and an email banner each have their own limits, and those limits are the core of this product.

How it works

The frames are drawn by OpenAI's image models. We write the instructions behind each motion, then run our own finishing steps: fixing the join in the loop, removing backgrounds where needed, resizing to the delivery size, and compressing to fit each platform's limit. Our PNG and JPG converters work differently: they run entirely in your browser, with no AI, and are free.

What we won't pretend

  • Results depend on the image. Some pictures animate well and some don't.
  • Motion is short and subtle: 2 to 16 frames, typically 8.
  • We don't do lip sync, long animation or video to GIF conversion. Other tools do those jobs better.
  • When we quote a platform's rules, we link to its official page and show when we checked it. If we can't confirm something, we leave it out.

Safety

Uploads and results go through moderation. Sexual content involving minors and real-person face swaps are banned, and anyone can report a public page through the Report content link in the footer. Results are private unless you choose to share them. Our privacy policy explains how your data is handled.
