Who we are

Image to GIF AI (imagetogifai.app) is operated by the Image to GIF AI Team (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and the Image to GIF AI Team. By using the site you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site.

Who can use the service

The service isn't for children under 13, and you must not use it if you are under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in details to yourself.

What the service does

You upload a picture or write a description, and we generate a short animation using third-party AI models. Results depend on your input and vary from run to run. Frames are drawn by a model, so a result may differ from your picture, and it may not be suitable for your purpose. Check every result before you use it. The local PNG and JPG converters run in your browser, and files you convert with them aren't sent to us.

Your uploads and your rights

You may only upload pictures and text that you own or have permission to use, including permission from any identifiable person shown. You keep whatever rights you hold in your uploads. You give us a limited license to store, process and transmit them, including sending them to our AI provider, for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.

We don't use your uploads or results as site examples or marketing unless you choose to publish them. If you publish a result to the gallery, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display it on the site until you withdraw it.

Banned content and conduct

You must not use the service to create, upload or share any of the following:

• Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes or endangers a child. This ban has no exceptions. We remove such content, close the account, and report it to the appropriate authorities where the law requires.
• Real-person face swaps, or any content that places a real person's likeness on another body or in a situation they did not agree to.
• Sexually explicit content, including non-consensual intimate imagery of anyone.
• Content that impersonates a person or organization, or is meant to deceive people about who or what it shows.
• Content that harasses, threatens or promotes hatred or violence against people, or encourages self-harm.
• Content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
• Anything illegal where you live.

Other things you must not do

• Bypass credit limits, for example by creating multiple accounts or tampering with anonymous usage counts.
• Probe, overload or disrupt the service, or get around moderation.
• Scrape the site or use automated access without our written permission.
• Resell access to the service.

Moderation and reporting

We check uploads, text and generated frames with automated tools, and our AI provider applies its own safety systems. A blocked request shows a general message. These tools aren't perfect, and we may review, remove or refuse content at our discretion. If you find content that breaks these terms, use the Report content link in the site footer or email support@imagetogifai.app. Reports go to a person for review.

Results and AI labels

As between you and us, we claim no ownership of results made from your uploads, and you may use them subject to these terms, the rights of others and the law. Similar results may be generated for other users. Generated files carry a metadata note identifying them as AI-generated, and free results carry a visible watermark. You must not remove these to mislead people about how a file was made. Buying credits to remove the watermark through the site is fine.

Credits, payments and subscriptions

Free use and paid plans are described on our pricing page. Prices are in US dollars and may change, though a change won't affect credits you already bought. Payments are handled by Stripe.

• 1 credit buys a standard quality generation and 2 credits buy a high quality generation.
• Credits in one-time packs never expire while your account remains open.
• Subscription credits are issued for each billing period and reset at the end of it. They don't carry over.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
• Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
• Failed or blocked generations refund their credits automatically. Our refund policy has the full details.

Storage of your files

We delete original uploads within 24 hours. Results from anonymous and free accounts are kept for 30 days. Results from paid accounts are kept until you delete them or close your account. Download anything you want to keep. Our privacy policy has the details.

Copyright complaints

If you think content on the site infringes your rights, follow the steps on our DMCA page or email dmca@imagetogifai.app. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.

Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or exposes us to legal liability. If we close an account for a serious breach, unused credits may be lost. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

No warranty

The service is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that results will meet a particular platform's requirements, since platforms change their rules. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, the Image to GIF AI Team isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. You agree to cover losses we suffer because of content you uploaded or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

If a dispute arises, write to support@imagetogifai.app first and we will try to resolve it informally. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. When a change is significant, we will give notice on the site or by email before it applies. Questions: support@imagetogifai.app.
