Animated logo maker for the logo you already have

Start from your own PNG. Choose a turn, a pulse or a sweep of light, and export with a transparent background.

Output: 512×512, transparent background

This animated logo maker takes the logo you already have and adds one short looping motion: breathe, turn, light sweep, float or pop. Upload a PNG, and you get a 512 × 512 file with a transparent background as WebP or GIF, or an MP4 with a solid one. It is suited to simple marks, not exact motion design.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload your logo file

Use the largest PNG you have, ideally on a transparent or plain background. A clean source gives clean edges.

  2. 2

    Pick a motion

Choose from five motions. They all return to the start, so the logo settles before it repeats.

  3. 3

    Check the lettering, then export

Step through the frames to confirm that shapes and words stayed true. Export WebP for the web, GIF where WebP isn't accepted, or MP4 for video.

Five motions in the animated logo maker

An animated logo has one job: draw the eye for a moment without getting in the way. Each motion in the animated logo maker runs for 1.2 seconds, in 8 frames of 150 ms, and comes back to rest so the loop feels calm. The right choice depends on the shape of your mark more than on your brand's personality.

Logo motions and where each one works

BreatheScales up by about 5% and returnsNearly any mark; the safest pickVery little; it is subtle
TurnOne smooth rotation around its centerRound badges and symbolsWordmarks, which go upside down
Light sweepA soft band of light crosses left to rightMetallic or solid shapesPale logos, where it barely shows
FloatDrifts up slightly and settlesMascots and iconsMarks that sit on a baseline
PopGrows with a small overshoot, then settlesPlayful brands and app iconsFormal or corporate marks

Prepare your file for the animated logo maker

Five minutes of preparation will do more for your result than a second run of any animated logo maker. Go through this list before uploading.

  1. Export a PNG from your original artwork rather than screenshotting a website. If you only have an SVG, export it at 1,000 px or larger first.
  2. Use a square canvas. The output is 512 × 512, so a wide wordmark ends up small with empty space above and below it.
  3. Use the symbol alone if you have one. A compact mark reads better at this size than a long name.
  4. Leave a margin of about 10% on all sides, so a pop or a turn doesn't touch the edge.
  5. Remove taglines and small print. They become unreadable at 512 px, and small letters are the first thing to warp.
Output canvas512×512Wide wordmark512×170
A 3:1 wordmark fitted inside the square canvas keeps its width but uses only a third of the height.

Transparent backgrounds: WebP, GIF or MP4

A logo needs to sit on whatever color is behind it, so transparency matters here more than on any other page. Unfortunately, the classic format is the weakest at it. GIF marks each pixel as fully visible or fully gone, which gives a curved edge small steps. That is why this animated logo maker defaults to WebP, which supports smooth edges and is widely supported by browsers.

Formats offered for an animated logo
FormatTransparencyColorsUse it for
WebP (default)Smooth edgesFull colorWebsites and web apps
GIFHard edges only256 per frameEmail, forums, older systems
MP4None; solid backgroundFull colorVideo intros and slides

Using a GIF on a dark page? Check for a pale fringe around the shape. If you see one, use the WebP, or the MP4 with a matching background.

What an AI animated logo maker can't do

This is the most important section on the page. Our animated logo maker doesn't move your vector shapes. It redraws your logo frame by frame. That is a fast way to get a lively loop, and it carries a real risk for brand work: a curve can soften, a letter can lean, a color can drift by a shade. On a simple mark you may never notice. On a detailed one you will.

So look at each frame before you publish, particularly around lettering. If something changed, try Breathe or Light sweep, which ask for less redrawing than a full turn. If it still isn't right, an animated logo maker isn't the tool for that logo.

Where an animated logo earns its place

Whatever comes out of an animated logo maker, use the motion sparingly. Good spots are a loading screen, a social profile, a slide title, the footer of a newsletter, or a livestream overlay. A poor spot is your website header, where a logo that loops all day pulls attention from the page and may bother visitors who are sensitive to motion. If you do use an animated logo on a site, consider showing the static version to people whose system is set to reduce motion.

One more rule: only animate logos you own or have permission to use. Our terms require you to hold the rights to whatever you upload, and rights holders can file a request through our DMCA page.

Free animated logo: what you get

A free animated logo is a good way to test the idea. You get 3 generations with no account and 5 more after signing up. Free files use standard quality, the lower of two tiers, and carry a watermark in one corner. That is fine for showing a colleague but not for your real website, so count on a paid run for final work.

Paid generations cost 1 credit at standard quality or 2 at high quality, with no watermark. A logo rarely needs many attempts in the animated logo maker, so the $6.99 pack of 25 credits, which doesn't expire, is enough for most people. Failed or blocked generations give their credit back automatically.

Questions

Is this animated logo maker free?

You can try it for free: 3 generations with no account, then 5 more after signing up. Free files carry a corner watermark. For a clean file, you will need credits.

Does the logo keep a transparent background?

Yes, in WebP and GIF. WebP gives smooth edges, while GIF edges are hard. MP4 can't be transparent, so it has a solid background.

Can the animated logo creator design a logo for me?

No. Think of this as an animated logo maker for a logo you already have, not a designer. If you only have an idea, the text-based generator can draw something, but that isn't a finished brand mark.

Can I upload an SVG?

Not directly. The animated logo maker accepts JPG, PNG and WebP, so export your SVG as a large PNG first.

Will it change my logo's colors?

Slightly, it can. GIF is limited to 256 colors, and every frame is redrawn. If your exact brand color matters, compare the file with your guidelines.

Can I make it longer than about a second?

A little. The advanced panel lets you change frames and frame time, and the loop repeats by itself. This tool isn't meant for long logo reveals.
